Switeck Posted June 17, 2007 Report Share Posted June 17, 2007 300 kilobits/sec internet connection is dog slow.300 KiloBYTES/sec internet connection is decent.3 Megabits/sec internet connection is only a little faster than 300 KiloBYTES/sec.3 MegaBYTEs/sec is VERY fast!It pays to know what units the 300 "whatevers" are.Also, your download speed may be more than 10 times faster than your upload speed...so sustaining decent speeds or ratios on torrents can be very hard.
