bunicu
I have a Athlonp Xp 2100+, 256 MB ram, Xp sp2 with all the current updates. My antivirus is NOD32 and I have no firewall installed. I have a Motorola Surfboard Cable Modem. I live in Romania an my ISP is RDS(Romania Data Systems.) My problem is that my download speed won't reach more than 50 kB/s (if it reaches 50kB/s is a miracle).Mostly it stays at around 10 kB/s. After I have unchecked "resolve IP's". When "resolve IP's", the speed would drop and stabilize to 0.1 kB/s. I don't have any router instaled. My motorola cable modem is directly linked to my computer. I don't have any other computers connected to my computer. These are the results of speed test on my computer: . Other friends in my town have WEBSTAR Cable Modem. They don't have any download problems. I had before on this same system a Webstar Modem. Unfortunately I can't get it back. Here in Romania they give you your modem and take it back when you finish you contract. I tryed enabling encription, randomizing port each time utorrent starts, disablin UpNp port maping, setting peer.lazy_bitfield to true. I don't know what else to try. (Except kill myself). Any ideas?
