dieyou2000
Ok, I just heard about this because I need a video editing program (Ulead Video Studio), and I have no idea what I'm doing. I installed UTorrent, and then went to save a version of the program to my cpu. I got to in in UTorrent put it on the download screen, but it won't download. I put the tracker up, and noticed it says "hostname not found", and there are 0 "seeds" and "peers". I have no idea what any of this means, but I hope it helps. I haven't changed anything since I downloaded the program so I have no clue what's happening. REMEMBER I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING SO JUST HOLD THE FLAMING. It also in the logger page says there was an error opening my firewall. First, of all why does it need to do this, and why did it happen?Yes, I know I have no idea what I'm doing, and this is probably a dumb question to most of you. So just answer it and get me out of the way.
DreadWingKnight
"hostname not found" means that the tracker is dead or your ISP is blocking things.
Ultima
Or your firewall is configured improperly and not allowing µTorrent to resolve DNS.
