ajfsx
Before getting the new version I used to get 800 KB/s with certain private tracker torrents. But then I uninstalled the older version and got the new one and since my speeds usually max out at 200-430 KBs, usually staying around 150-250 KB/s. I have a 850KB/s - 60 KBs connection and I have chosen the proper settings in speedguide and still I keep getting these crappy speeds. Also the torrents I download are from a site that has high speed seeders and everyone has to maintain a ratio of 1 on that site so usually they are pretty fast. And I used to get speeds upwards of 700KBs reguarly with torrents from that site but now with those same torrents I keep getting crappier speeds. how can I restore my old speeds? ajfsx
It tried it. It goes to 800KB/s for afew seconds but then quickly drops back to 300-480KB/s range. I used to get consistent upwards of 800KB/s in the past. So still no improvements. btw my speed test results are6849kbs - 503 kbs which is roughly 856 and 62 KBps. so I chose the 512kbps from the speed guide dropdown list. And those are the results I get. No improvements yet.
Switeck
Try reducing the max connections and even disable DHT, UPnP, and resolve ips.Have you changed the half open connection limit? If so, that may be causing the problem -- especially if Windows unpatched itself with its latest update.
