nautica453
I'm currently using a p4 2.566 Ghz 778 mb Ram windows xp home and the only running thing on is my comodo firewall. I've allowed u torrent 1.6.1 and even taken the extra necessary step to manually open the port used by u torrent. immediately after this is set up this way I get a green check and downloads are fine.but once u torrent is idle for awhile sometimes over night the download will go red. To remedy this I randomize the port temporarily, apply then put it back to the original port I allowed by the firewall. Instantly I have a green check. I was wondering why it does this and if the was an easier way to fix the problem in say the Advanced Options or somehow this from making me do this tedious reset-Adam
silverfire
The indicator is only a best-guess report of what µTorrent thinks your connection status is. Randomizing the port only serves to tell µTorrent that its previous status could be incorrect, resets it to green, and reevaluates from there. You should check your router settings, but unfortunately, since you only told us CPU and RAM, neither of which are relevant to your problem, we really can't do anything right now.
