MasterJ633
i have been downloading from utorrent for awhile. i think the utorrent 1.7 is better then the last versions. I can't however get to downloads to download fast. they stay less then 30kB/sec. sometimes i get luck and i may get about 100kB/sec (i had about like 50 - 70 seeds). only have gotten 257kB for like 5 seconds (most i have ever gotten) and it won't go higher. I've tried those tweak guides i have found but they didn't work well.Picture of Very slow speed:http://photo.xanga.com/MasterJ80/8175e131276885/photo.htmlIf you could help that would be great. Honeyfrog
I notice that your torrents are collectively uploading at about 40kbs. If you're using Comcast "cheap-rate" cable, lower your global upload setting to about 35kbs; higher than that will choke the download rate during peak busy hours.(If all you're doing is uploading/seeding, then you can crank it.) MasterJ633
no i don't got Comcast. I have Insight BB (Broadband). My friend is lucky. with Bittorrent/utorrent he said (i've seen a picture) he has over 700kB/sec. He said he got a Meg 1 time.
Ultima
Just for the record, InsightBB is known to throttle BitTorrent (you can search the forums).
Firon
You can try turning on protocol encryption and turning off legacy connections, but it may not help.
