jejawall
I have a Belkin F5d8230-4 router. Utorrent will keep downloading, but after a few hours you can not get on the internet. If I reset the router things go back to normal. I have limited my number of connections in utorrent and this has not helped. There is some third party firmware (dd-wrt) but it is not compatible with my router yet. Is there any other third party firmware that would help, or do I need to do something else. Ultima
FWIW, Belkins are known to suck. Lots of people have had problems with their routers. Try lowering the global maximum number of connections to 100 or something in µTorrent. Disable DHT. Lower net.max_halfopen to 4.

Switeck
From what I've seen, you need to set global and per-torrent connections max well below 60.
