fendertele Posted July 1, 2007 Report Share Posted July 1, 2007 hey ive been using utorrent for a couple of years with no problems but lately since ive been upgraded to 20mb virgin media ive been getting disk overload a lot and then my downloads dropping to zero and rising againthis is my modem readings Operation ConfigurationNetwork Access : AllowedMaximum Downstream Data Rate : 20480000Maximum Upstream Data Rate : 768000Maximum Upstream Channel Burst : 1600Modem Capability : Concatenation Enabled, Fragmentation Disabled, PHS DisabledMaximum Number of CPEs : 1i was wondering what to set my utorrent like to stop the disk overloading error and also what to set my upload 2 to get maximum download speed thanks for any help guys Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Switeck Posted July 2, 2007 Report Share Posted July 2, 2007 Did you run Speed Guide and choose xx/768k which seems very close to your "Maximum Upstream Data Rate: 768000"?...you may even need to decrease the max number of global and per-torrent connections considerably, to under 100 even.
