cockiej
i get the error "No incoming connections" and when i try to use the speed guid not a single button works, i can keep on pressing every damn button but nothing happens, this may sound very dumb because im new with this program and have only minimum understanding of computers i tryed to press the button.. it was something like test if the port is forwarded or something like that but i dont see anything happening when pressing it! (neither when i press on test speed at www.dslreports.com or so) can someone help me?
Ultima
Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Set Program Access and Defaults > Custom > Choose a default Web browser:Select your browser, and check the "Enable access to this program" checkbox. That's for the "not a single button works" works problem. The rest you should be able to figure out from the setup guide.
cockiej
I tryed that but the "Enable access to this program" was already enabled
Ultima
Okay, so just click another browser then click the one you want again, and press OK...
cockiej
Huh? i didnt got what youve just explained, i just want the button "Test if port is forwarded properly" to work cuz it doesnt do anything now. Or if you could give me some other info to make it work cuz now it keeps giving that yellow/orange triangle thing and says that there could be a problem with my network configuration. so I try the speed guide but the buttons in there aren't responding/doing nothing, idk. So i cant check if my port is forwarded properly. What i find strange as well, i was connected to 73 peers and yet still i got a down speed of 0.1 to nothing and an up speed of 0.3 so (it could be thats just possible but as ive already explained im a newbie in this )Kind regards,Kevin
Ultima
I'm referring to the Set Program Access and Defaults applet in my previous post -- select another brwoser, then select the one you want to use as default, then press OK.If it still doesn't help, you probably have some stupid firewall software that's not allowing µTorrent to access the browser. At any rate...Run speed test at: www.dslreports.com --> http://www.dslreports.com/speedtestTest if port is forwarded properly --> http://www.utorrent.com/testport.php?port={PORT} where {PORT} is the port next to the button
