tylerni7
Sorry for this silly question, but to make a long story short, I deleted all of the .torrent files stored in the C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\uTorrent directory. Because uTorrent is still running, I can't tell if the torrent files are all just stored in the RAM, and I'll lose all of my files when I try to start it up again, or if the files aren't needed because they have been downloaded, and uTorrent has a backup somewhere else. I know it was really stupid to delete those files (trust me, I didn't mean to), but if they can be recovered or if they aren't needed, please tell me. Thanks in advance. Firon
The .torrents are stored in RAM. When you reboot ut, none of them will work again (until you restore the .torrent files).
tylerni7
Is there any way that I can recover the torrent files apart from re-downloading them?
Firon
The recycling bin? There's really no other way.
tylerni7
Okay, just wanted to make sure I couldn't somehow get uTorrent to dump the torrents somewhere. It's just frustrating when the torrents are still running, and I know as soon as it closes I'm going to lose them.Thank you anyways!
