Pwnage Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 Im looking for a program that would tell me my total upload and download for today this week this month and of all time. Something low on resources that could just stay open all the time like it was a windows service.
Astral Monkey Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 Here's exactly what you want: NetMeter (at FileForum) --NetMeter Homepage--It keeps all kinds of data including data transferred today, this week, this month, total, projected today, projected this week, and many many more... and it only uses 2-4mbs of memory.
Firon Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 There's also DU Meter.http://www.dumeter.com/
boo Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 but that one costs and I dont see any feature that makes its special enought to but EDIT by silverfire: Please do not quote posts directly before yours.
Firon Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 Only costs money if you don't know where to look I personally don't use it, I've just seen other people recommend it.
splintax Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 Azureus has this feature built in, if you want to track your torrents download/upload...Just kidding. (Although it does have this feature.)
Pwnage Posted November 18, 2005 Author Report Posted November 18, 2005 that netmeter dosent seem that great are there any other ones?

On the website he has a few different skins on the screenshotshmm, you could change these, but the problem will to guess the colors, netmeter doesn't use the ordinary RGB number/identification = MaxValueBorderColor=8421504MaxValueBackgroundColor=8421504MaxValueFontColor=16777215PanelBorderColor=0PanelBackgroundColor=0PanelULColor=65280PanelDLColor=255GraphBorderColor=8421504GraphBackgroundColor1=12632231GraphBackgroundColor2=0GraphGridColor=8421504UploadColor=65280DownloadColor=255UpDnColor=65535UDPanelFontName=MS Sans SerifUDPanelFontSize=8UDPanelFontBold=0UDPanelFontItalic=0MVPanelFontName=ArialMVPanelFontSize=8MVPanelFontBold=0MVPanelFontItalic=0
CyGho Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 You can try Lanspeed. It's free and it has a good log.
deeppal Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 Tautology bandwith meter. Low on memory and shows total downloaded and uploaded in a day, mth and year
Pwnage Posted November 18, 2005 Author Report Posted November 18, 2005 @boo thats not exactly what i meant. What i meant was the fact that they have very very similar setting.
boo Posted November 19, 2005 Report Posted November 19, 2005 ya, first I thought it was the same maker, like first he had it as a free version, then he got bought by Hagel Technologies. But then I saw that DU meterhad released a version in 2002 and the latest netmeter is released in 2004.Maybe people are allowed to copy the basic design of other things or something like that
