Ultima
... diskio.write_queue_size has been removed since over a year ago (in 1.6), when the current disk cache system was implemented. Tell us what your settings are like in Preferences > Advanced > Disk Cache.
tjobo
This is a known problem. It seems to be a bug where utorrent shows a Overload message as soon the cache buffer is filled up.There is a lot of users with the same problem. Try reading one of the following threads and see if it can help you.http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=24572http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=241893http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=21356http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=23095

Ultima
Uncheck...- "Reduce memory usage when cache is not needed"- "Write out finished pieces immediately"- "Turn off read caching if the upload speed is slow"Check- "Increase automatic cache size when cache thrashing"If it doesn't help, then it's as tjobo points out, and there probably is a problem with the disk cache system. Check those threads he linked to.

Lord Alderaan
Try updating to the newest version (at this time 1.7.2). 1.6.1 isn't supported anymore and your problems might be fixed by now.
