GDR111
Hi folks,Im sure this is a silly questions to most of you but, how do I run in safety mode?My reason for asking is that when downloading I keep getting an error message that utorrent is being ussed by another process. I tried all that is in the Q&A section, but had no luck. I have seen a post here on the form and it was recommended to run in safety mode and it seemed to work for the user that was having this same problem.Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
5618
Running in safe mode is a windows startup option. It's Windows without a lot of stuff loaded. Suffice to say, you do not want to always run in safe mode, so this isn't really an option. Is µTorrent itself reported as in use or files that are part of a torrent? You could try using http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/ to check what is using the file(s).

Pilsener
To answer his question: Press F8 while the PC boots. You will then get a menu with startup-options. Safe-mode....Safe-Mode with networking....etc......

DreadWingKnight
The real solution is to find out what's interfering with the files. (Desktop Indexers, some more aggressive antivirus, thumbnailers, other p2p apps)
Switeck
...and of course potentially adware, spyware, trojans, or viruses could cause similar problems.
