Airw0lf Posted November 18, 2005 Report Share Posted November 18, 2005 I am a first time user of utorrent, and I am a bit confused to see utorrent trying to make a UDP connection to this address on startup. Does anyone know why utorrent does this? It seems to try to do this every two minutes or so. I do not have any torrent files loaded, so it should not be doing anything...Blocked: Out UDP, localhost:32459->38.114.167.69:6881, Owner: C:\PROGRAM FILES\µTORRENT\UTORRENT.EXEP.S. This has nothing to do with the update check to utorrent.com, which looks like:Blocked: Out TCP, localhost:2302->66.98.196.181:80, Owner: C:\PROGRAM FILES\µTORRENT\UTORRENT.EXEI am using v1.2 by the way.
