Harry Poppins
Currently, if a torrent has multiple trackers, the interface cycles through all of them, displaying one at a time for about a second each. What I think would be nice, is if you could pause this cycling by hovering the mouse in that area (maybe 1 second is not enough for you to read all the info about the tracker being displayed).Just an idea. NiteShdw
I have previous suggested another method of displaying multiple trackers. I suggested having "<--" "-->" (back, forward) buttons, or something similar, to allow the user to manual cycle through the trackers. I also thought it would be nice to show the number of peers "in swarm" for each tracker.
ColdArmor
I like the arrow idea that niteshdw mentained. (sp)
chaosblade
The second option would mean having it announce to EVERY tracker in the list. Thats not how multi-tracker works, and its pretty abusive non-the-less.Having said that, even though i cant find a better idea myself, that infinite cycling is a bit annoying sometimes. ScubaSteve
why not make it cycle through the trackers every 3000ms instead.
Keloran
if you have all the same trackerseg. the bay, onesin a single block it will only move onto the next tracker in that block if theres a problemtracekr1tracker2tracker3it will do tracker1+3, if tracker1 has a problem then it will do 2+
Firon
Wrong.Every announce it will switch between tracker1 and tracker2.if you hadtracker1tracker2tracker3tracker4tracker5announce #1 would use tracker1 and 4, #2 would use 2 and 5, #3 would use 3 and 4, #4 would use 1 and 5, etc... 1c3d0g
Isn't that a bit of an odd way to announce? :/ I can't really see the pattern that is chosen, or maybe it's random? If there is a pattern, it would be nice to point it out to me...
Firon
It uses the next tracker in the group/tier on every announce, simple as that.
Animorc
It's not random. It takes the first tracker from all groups on the first announce, the second from all groups on next announce and the third tracker from all groups on the third announce and so on. If one group would contain two trackers, that µTorrent will restart from tracker 1 in that group.
