jazz867g
Hi,I am unable to connect to most peer while downloading. Uploading speed seems to be normal but not the DL part.I have tried all the portforwarding and static ip stuff but still no result.I am currently using linksys wrt54g ver.3.1 on dd-wrt fw.The torrent have 3000 over peers but am only connected to 2 or 10. Is there something that I have miss?I read the FAQ, that there is a start-up script. But I cant access the link. Also, the speed guide in utorrent shows different ip address from my static address. Is that normal? or should I take the one shown in the speed guide? Please help.
Ultima
I had a bad experience with DD-WRT. Perhaps you may want to try another firmware, like Thibor's or Tomato?
jazz867g
Thanks for your reply. But I thought DD-WRT is suppose to be the best?Is there any other setting that I can tweak?
Ultima
"Best" is a totally subjective word. And my experience, DD-WRT definitely isn't the best. And erm... I just realized that your ISP is known to throttle BitTorrent. Meaning you're more-or-less SOL.
