and i quote why it's banned on some trackers

This latest version of uTorrent is reporting stats to the tracker out of no-where, and would result in you being caught by our anti-cheat system, and most likely banned.

Oops, The Final has the Low-res icon bug again

Works fine here. I'm pretty sure that's a stupid Windows bug

I have checked icon in the executive file, this is the difference (of 16x16 16 colors) between the final (left) and rc6:

--edit--

the 16color icon of rc6 has its own palette:

I think you should add a 16x16 256 colors icon if using standard palette. :)

Silly, stoopid private sites and their silly, stoopid passkeys. You might as well just hold a gun to your torrent and just shoot it, because it's going to die about that fast anyway if you post it to one of those places.

if your manually copy utorrent.exe to the right place, you may run it the 1st time with the command "utorrent.exe /NOINSTALL"

so the install dialog won't be shown, no shortcut will be created, and utorrent.exe won't be moved without prompting you ;)

I have some problems with 1.7 final...

Seems that it reports incorrect data on some large torrents.

For example I downloaded a 4.31 GB torrent from a private tracker and uTorrent only reported 316 MB. This happened multiple times... Never had these issues with uT 1.6.1.

I'm not sure if this has to do with what phaser said, but on some torrents (in multi-files torrents case), with my log set to log errors, I get lots of messages like those bellow. Doesn't this suppose to be only in "verbose" mode ?

Panda Clientshield 2006 detects uTorrent.exe as suspicious software and deletes it! tongue

I don't know where you downloaded it, but... It is all right.

When I have more than 9 torrents in my list, some are hidden a few minutes after uTorrent opens up. When I set my max torrents to, let's say, 100, it still does this. What's the point in it, and if it's a feature, how can I disable it?

Anyone? It keeps the list clear, but it's really difficult for managing speeds on certain torrents...
