Ultima Posted July 14, 2007 Report Share Posted July 14, 2007 µTorrent has never used only 200KB RAM, even all the way back to 1.0 (yes, I have a copy of it on hand, and just checked). The only time it reaches close to that is if you minimize (it goes down to something like 700KB RAM), but it refills soon after that anyway. µTorrent 1.7 uses as much RAM as µTorrent always has while idling: anywhere from 1MB to 6MB. While transferring, it's a different story, as it's using the disk cache. Even still, it only uses a bit more than the cache size, as should be expected.
