kookie
well, with the really-easy-to-do skinning system you can have the status icons be whatever color you would like. What is the easy skinning system? Is there a guide/topic somewhere that I've missed?
Determination
I am working on toolbar / main app icons sometime soon.I haven't had a chance to talk to Ludde about a "How to Skin" thread since the information on how to do it is semi-proprietary, and I want to make sure it's ok with him first. Mikademus
Hmm, (1) skinnable icons, (2) coloured text, and (3) coloured backgrounds. (1) is already optional, you just place the bitmap in a foilder if you want that icon set, though it would be nice to be able to choose which one to use if several ones are "installed"(2) and (3) could be tickboxes in the settings. All three extremely good ideas, and all easy coding fixes.
Smoovious
or maybe the text is other color, and white background Ugh! No, please... no forced-white background...I get that way too much already... NS72 doesn't use system colors like earlier versions did... I like that utorrent uses my system colors (except for a lot of explicitly colored black text, which doesn't look good on a dark blue field).I like keeping all my text on black backgrounds... easier on the eyes...(tho, it shouldn't take too much to be able to switch between what look you want, code-wise. If you want the icon view, or you want the colored-bar view.)-- Smoovious
