1.7 using wine w/ a theme applied... hogs 40% of CPU and SLOW.

I'm running wine in my linux desktop. I have applied a desktop theme within the wine configuration utility. I run several small windows applications with no problem, but when I try and run uTorrent, it's incredibly slow, and uses between 40 and 50 percent of the CPU. If I turn the theme in wine off, uTorrent runs great.

Thoughts?

Hmm. While we are on the subject. Say you are dual booting Linux and Windows, is it possible to have utorrent downloading something while in windows. then if you boot to linux later. having linux pick up afterwards? assuming linux has access to the folder where utorrent is keeping the temp data?

Theme support in Wine isn't up-to-par; I've tested over and over. Theme support is a relatively recent addition to Wine anyhow. I've found just about everything to be slower with while using XP themeing under Wine. This is a Wine issue that you can only wait around for improvements to come for (or if you know how, can try to improve it yourself).
