m3lkor
So µTorrent has been working fine for a while, no real problems to date, except for this. I'm downloading a torrent, and it gives me this message, about 17% or so in. I tried switching clients, but I get the same thing. Azureus told me which filename was too long, but I am unable to shorten it. Help would be appreciated.
Animorc
I think the only thing to do is to make the tracker-admin change the filename or have someone upload another torrent with supportet filename-length.
m3lkor
Well, this is actually a re-download of ths torrent. I had the same problem the first tme, but somehow or other managed to fix it, and I have no idea what I did.
ScubaSteve
if its a file then you could simply rename it when it asks where to save it. if its a folder then make sure that you dont place it in 15 million other subdirs because windows will get the arse and complain. Firon
yeah, try saving it to the root of the drive, it may make the error go away.
