It's not. They simply don't understand what multicast is (used for local peer discovery).

They're absolutely WRONG!

They're just multicast packets, and have nothing to do with your private info (just Port and InfoHash)!

I got the same probleme. The tracker doesnt allow me to use Utorrent 1.7 & 1.7.1.

Which tracker? Did they give a reason?

Yes, there reason is that there is a bug in Utorrent 1.7.0 and 1.7.1 thats sending private info outside the tracker. They say: As we establish that your using Utorrent 1.7.0 or 1.7.1 your not longer be allowed to download, and that you will be blocked untill you start using Utorrent 1.6.1 again.
