Anybody using 1.7 or above does so at their own risk and we will not be given any user support.]Can u please explain whats going on? =( thank ulove Utorrent
Firon
1.7 has a download bug that was fixed for 1.7.1.And it doesn't report private info. Tell them to provide proof that it does with a wireshark log. Also, if the IP they see is in the 239.x range, that's a local multicast (meaning it cannot go outside of your LAN) used to discover peers on the same LAN. It's called local peer discovery. shadesofcolours
thanks firon. thats good news, cuz i actually did downgrade and i miss some of the features in 1.7. I love the new feature in bandwidth allocation where u can actually set each download/upload to the amount of kbs u want. its excellent! it helps with seeding and downloading, especially where torrents u've watched need more up space than the ones u havent watched yet. Firon
If you can, try to direct the staff there to this post. Or tell them to join the IRC channel and talk to me (IRC link in the top menubar).
