burf
I normally have DHT disabled, but I'll enable it for old torrents with few seeders, to see if I can pick up any other seeders/peers.Since updating to 1.7.1 (3360) from 1.6.1, the DHT status (on general tab) always says disabled when I have it enabled. It still shows as "not allowed," when the tracker doesn't allow DHT.Any ideas about what's going on, and how to get it to work?Any help appreciated... thanks! Ultima
Not allowed means the torrent is a private torrent. µTorrent won't announce private torrents on DHT.
burf
Thanks for your reply, but I know what not allowed means, as I said in my initial post. The problem is, that it's saying "disabled," where it normally says "announcing," or "not allowed..." on the General tab.And this is when I have DHT enabled, and the status bar is showing nodes.Any help would be appreciated... thanks! Ultima
Check the torrent properties. If DHT is unchecked, it'll say "disabled."

Ultima
No problem. This thread actually helped me document the DHT status field just a bit more
