xeronius
I am using a Linksys WRT300N router and have configured it just as the port forwarding guide had suggested. I went into my Windows firewall and allowed not only utorrent bu also the now open port. However, utorrent is still telling me that the port is being blocked. It is odd, it isn't keeping me from downloading, just uploading. This has only been a problem since installing Vista 32bit. I had no problems (didn't even need to port forward) under xp. Has anyone had a similar problem or is there something I am just doing wrong?
Lucretia
I have the same problem but I still use windows xp. Since I had to remove the latest Utorrent version (because torrentsites didn't allow members to use Utorrent 1.7.1) and installed Utorrent 1.6.1 the ports are blocked. I did reset my modem, removed my firewall and turned to windows firewall, opened a port in windowsfirewall for Utorrent, removed all ports in modem,NAT, virtual servers to open another port for Utorrent but nothing helped. Every port I try to open is blocked by Utorrent. I even tried to open a port for Azureus but I have the same problem if I want to open a port for Azureus.
