restart

hello there everybody.

I'm new to this, so apologies for dealing with my ignorance. I was suggested to use utorrent as limewire seems to be, well shit, as of late. this must be very simple but i couldn't find it in the faq...

1) can you restart/turn your computer off whilst it is downloading?

2) and does it continue doing what it was doing before when you restart?

3) can you let it hibernate? or standby?

Sometimes the estimated time of download looks like 5 days left (although it does change obviously) but if it actually takes like days to fully download, i don't know if my lil computer will like to be awake for that long.

1) Yes; µTorrent will stop all torrents and exit properly.

2) Yes

3) Not sure about standby, but hibernate sounds fine, since it copies RAM to disk, which means the cache gets restored after it wakes up.
