zhangyan
I found an interesting connection today:I am seeding for a file of 688MB. A client already finished 99% download, but I kept sending at 100kB/s for a long time and have uploaded more than 200MB. The strange thing is that the peer download speed is only 0.1kB/s.Am I generating a lot of waste data?(Peer uses BitComet/0089, Flags are "U XE".) Ultima
It's pretty difficult to tell, really, as you can't be sure the problem is at the other peer's end. How many peers are there in the swarm, and what's the availability? When you seed, does the availability increase? And even though you're uploading at 100KiB/s, if the peer isn't registering the piece as completed (it's failing the hash check), it'll look like it got 0 pieces, which is what µTorrent uses to estimate the peer's download speed.
