SinzCity
I know that this has been covered before but I am still not able to get the ball rolling.I cut and pasted some music files to my music folder- after I saw that the files were then unable to seed I pasted them back to the original folder. Now the files are stopped even after I force a recheck- not only that but they are no longer 100%- they have random chunks taken out of them according to the download bar (99.7%, 97.9%, 86.3%).. wtf?My questions:Will this affect the quality of play back- for example will some songs be missing chunks of content?Do I need to re-download the torrents that I already spent hours to download in order to seed again?I would like to make it so that I can have the files anywhere on my computer and they will seed- Is that a possibility?I apologize ahead bringing up this noob trash but I was unable to find answers that helped me elsewhere. Please be kind enough to point me in the right direction, such as links, if you don't have the time to walk me through this. Your help is definitely appreciated. DreadWingKnight
What likely happened is that your media player silently re-tagged the files, effectively corrupting them for the purposes of the torrent. When you force the re-check then restart the torrent, the changes will be reverted. SinzCity
No go... but thanks for the advice- was hoping that it'd work. This is really frustrating- I've never had any issues with this before.Update: They're almost done downloading.... I'm never gonna move those damed files again! lolThe only other alternative that I can come up with.... that may also help to keep my sanity is just to say "screw it" and take em off the seed list.If I do that then I will be a leech- and I want to avoid that.
