PillFreak Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 Hi everyone,I'm usually good with this sort of thing but I've been unable to fix this problem and I can't find a solution anywhere which is why I registered to ask here.I am running WindowsXP with a 1.5Mb ADSL connection through my Belkin F5D7230-4 and my Utorrent displays the yellow light. When I run the port test it says ERROR the port is not open etc.I tried forwarding port 50000, using the PortForward.com tutorial found here:http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Belkin/F5D7230-4/Utorrent.htmI also set my static IP (192.168.2.2) and I have no firewalls running on my computer. So I've got:-Port 50000 forwarding to 192.168.2.2-Utorrent set to use port 50000-No firewalls-Utorrent says port 50000 isn't forwarding properlyThank you for reading I hope someone can help me =)-Dylan

Ricko Posted July 28, 2007 Report Posted July 28, 2007 ok here is a quick solution for the Belkin F5D7230-4 Problem1st Enter 192.168.2.1 to enter you Router Setup UtilityNext under your Firewall Setting, click on Virtual Servers (enter your password if you have one)Click on a Vacant Number: Enter Description(Utorrent) make sure the is a Check Mark in the box next to the Vacant number you are using or else the entrys will no be active once you finish.Inbound port (put your port you use for Utorrent) IE: example 45321 - 45321. Type (you must have 2 Types 1 must be TCP and the second must UDP,) just make 2 exact same entrys with the 2 different Types, on 2 different available Vacant NumbersPrivate IP Address(put you static ip for your computer)Private Port (same as you Inbound Port IE: example 45321 - 45321. Both Inbound and Private Ports MUST have the same port figures unless your using a specific range, but stick to this.at the bottom of the screen click apply changes...done, also you make sure that you have your Firewall turned off on your Router, also i have the same Router as you and never have any Problems..Let me know if this gets you up and running...
