Why do the up/down buttons not move the torrent?

Hi I am new here, but I noticed if you click on the status bar "#" and arrange your torrents in ascending order, then pick a torrent and click the up or dn buttons the torrent does move up and dn the list.

Am I missing something?

That's a side effect of ordering by priority.

People kept complaining that it wouldn't move the torrents (since most people don't sort by #) in the list, and that question was added to say what the up down buttons actually do.
