fourier404
I was looking through my peers list on a torrent and I noticed they ALL had the 'I' flag, which I have found to mean it was an incoming connection. Does the flag mean incoming in the normal sense? As in I was listening on a port and they connected, rather than vice versa? If so (or not), is it normal for every single one of my peers to be like this?
Firon
Yes, it means that they connected to you, instead of you connecting to them. It's not unheard of, and it really doesn't make a difference whether it's incoming or not. The connection is the same.
Switeck
The only difference is you cannot (by definition!) get incoming connections if you're firewalled -- your firewall (or firewall conditions, such as a NATed router or proxy) would be blocking them.
