Pwnage Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Cant we talk about this in a more civilized manner in one thread? This is slowly degrading the quality of the forum. I just want my question answered. Can Gmail work in winbar.
silverfire Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 I fail to see where the forum degenerated from 'civilized'. However, I did a little digging in the old thread and saw that since WinBar appears to support POP3 mail servers, you'd be able to plug your GMail details from GMail's help documentation. Don't expect me to dig that up for ya though ^o^.
Pwnage Posted November 21, 2005 Author Report Posted November 21, 2005 Thats all it took. All i asked for.
Sanchez Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 huzzah! The world is saved and such. \o/EDIT: Bad luck, looks like theres trouble in tinsel town
silverfire Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 The funniest thing is that all I did to give you this information was to dig through the old one and post it in a duplicate thread. (yes, this means it'll be locked soon) All you needed to do was read through the old one with a clearer head to find the same information instead of posting thread after thread and making yourself look slightly less than stellar.
Pwnage Posted November 21, 2005 Author Report Posted November 21, 2005 i realized that after trying it, i tryed the same thing before just didnt remember. Still dosent work, the world wasnt saved.
Ultima Posted November 22, 2005 Report Posted November 22, 2005 Did you set up POP3 forwarding in gmail?
silverfire Posted November 22, 2005 Report Posted November 22, 2005 What about port numbers? Try to set it up exactly as it shows in Google's tutorials to setting it up in Outlook Express, Outlook, Thunderbird, or whatever else you use.
