Artki
Version 1.7.2. win98. DL'd one file from a 13 file torrent. Encountered the known problem ("Error: Parameter is incorrect") while downloading the file. After finishing stayed online. After another hour got this message"Error: Error 1168"and the torrent stopped. I was able to restart it. What's up?

Artki
> http://utorrent.com/faq.php#I_get_Error … ownloading Let me clarify. The reference (Encountered the known problem ("Error: Parameter is incorrect") while downloading the file.) you focused on was NOT the subject of my note. I only mentioned that to make clear that it happened, that I'm aware it's a problem on Win98 systems and to give people additional info that might be related to the subject of my note - the 1168 error. (that is, the Parameter deal is might be related to the 1168 error. If it is, I thought I should let people know that I had that Parameter error during the download). I read the rules. I searched the FAQ for a reference to 1168 errors and didn't find any. Also did some 1168 related googling and didn't find anything that seemed relevant. And the rules thing is Firon's signature, nothing more.
Firon
I'm pretty sure element not found shows up in the same situation. It can show when there's a file missing, but unless you deleted or renamed something, it shouldn't. Try forcing a re-check.
Artki
I didn't rename, delete or move any files. The file finished downloading, I let the upload continue. I got the 1168 error. I hit stop, then queued it up again and continued to upload without incident.

Artki
> And bt.compact_allocation isn't set to true, right? It's set to "false". I haven't changed any of the advanced options.
