ucmeflyby
I've searched, and followed the recommendations that I've found, to no avail. My ISP is bellsouth, I am running utorrent on an xp pro sp2 machine, the client machine is on a network behind a smoothwall express firewall. I have set the modem to forward NAT to the smoothwall, and the smoothwall forwards port 32459 to the client machine (running utorent.) On the client machine I have disabled the xp firewall. The problem is when I check the port with some of the popularly suggested port checking sites, it says the port (32459) is not open (timed out.) 1c3d0g
Hmm...I'm unfamiliar with Smoothwall, but if you say you've forwarded the port through it, I have a feeling your ISP may be blocking that port...did you already try another one? :|
slayers
The router and smoothwall have logs, right? Check them to see where the connection is not being allowed. And are your forwarding both TCP and UDP? Have you unchecked randomize port each time uTorrent starts?
