munkers
Maximum number of connected peersSo why does the program include the number of seeds in this count? If I set the number to 50 for example, it will connect to 10(500) seeds and 40(1400) peers, WHY are the seeds being limited aswell? The transfer ratew ill fly through the fucking roof if it didnt.... very dissapointed with this stupid implementation.//kodak
Firon
Um, no. In large swarms, virtually all the bandwidth comes from peers. In fact, I've been exclusively connected to peers and gotten well over 250 KB/s (and this was on Azureus). Seeders are LESS likely to give you bandwidth than a peer (since they're usually quite busy). You'll find yourself being connected to mostly peers on other clients too.And the setting maximum number of peers obviously refers to clients.
