Geitje
I've seen various reports about random computer crashes while utorrent (1.7.2) is running. I'm experiencing them too (winXP prof). Mostly overnight, or if I left my computer alone for a while. Now I rolled back to utorrent 1.6, see if the problem is over. I will post again in couple of days... Ultima
Get Process Explorer from sysinternals.com, run it, File > Save, then post the contents of the saved process list in the .txt file here. Also, can you check the properties and stacks for µTorrent in Process Explorer to see what's hooked onto the process threads (and provide screenshots for these)? Are there any crash dumps in %appdata%\uTorrent or the utorrent.exe directory? Geitje
No crashdumps in those dirs. I will see if I post a screenshot of processexplorer. If my computer runs overnight, no useless processes run on the background, I hate that. What is running: Sygate Personal Firewall, Spysweeper, Avast! antivirus, sometimes Firefox, sometimes Foobar. But first I wait if a crash will happen again with 1.6.
Switeck
Best to save Process Explorer's results as text. Screenshots can't be copy-and-pasted.
