Utorrent Speed Slow compared to Bitcomet!?!?

So i just changed torrent programs because demonoid does not support bitcomet. I was downloading 300 and the speed for it is at around 15 kb/s on utorrent. I am also downloading shooter (which has more seeders) at around 90 kb/s. But on bitcomet 300 is 70 kb/s and shooter is 300 kb/s. Why is utorrent so slow. I have my port forwarded. I even changed my utorrent port to the bitcomet port and it is still slow. What could be the problem?????

Yeah it does, what are you talking about?

Every time you stop and start a torrent, it takes the BitTorrent protocol some time to connect and find the best reciprocating peers (up to 30 seconds per peer in your peer list, 60 peers <= 30 minutes). Don't judge uTorrent's speed based on a 2-3 minute test. Let it run for quite a while before doing a comparison.

Preferences > BitTorrent > Protocol Encryption / Outgoing

...

Most probably Bitcomet had the similar option enabled by default.

It is enabled by default in BitComet

sirpimps is probably using Rogers Cable ISP in Canada.

That particular ISP may have no problems throttling µTorrent's speeds using traffic shapers, but BitComet's old encryption scheme (which only works with other BitComet clients) may somehow slip by...for now!

I ran 300 for 3 hours and its average speed is 12.3 kb/s and shooter's average is 35.1 kb/s. On bitcomet these would have been 5 x the speed here. I also had my encrytion on enabled. Than i put it on forced. All my settings are the same as bitcomet. Everything has been forwarded it put it still slow. Is there a tool or something that can tell me if i forwarded my ports right????
