Seeding & Downloading

I recently started using downloads with torrents..

Have finished a few and want to seed them..

But i have a question.. Does seeding many torrents, will affect my download of any active torrent.. I have a slow connection also.. where i hardly get a max speed of 10 kbps for any download..

You probably won't be helping anyone to be seeding more torrents than you have upload speed in KiloBYTES/sec.

Also, bad settings in µTorrent can sabotage download and upload speeds.

So what settings are you using in µTorrent, as shown by Speed Guide (CTRL+G)?

What speed is your internet connection, as rated by ISP and/or measured by speed tests?

(UP is as important as DOWN!)

ISP speed estimates are exactly that, estimates, and can be as high as 99%, or as low as or lower than 5% correct. Run a speed test.
