SolidasRock Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 if yes, which switches i do need? i need this for my unattended windows install. i have give search a try but dont find any usefull info...
slayers Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 "Installation" is not necessary for uTorrent so I'm guessing there are no switches for that. Why don't you run uTorrent on a sample machine and copy the settings.dat for all your installations. Just put it in the same folder as uTorrent.exe. That's it.
SolidasRock Posted November 23, 2005 Author Report Posted November 23, 2005 ok thanks...EDIT by silverfire: Please do not quote posts directly before yours.
ScubaSteve Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 setup µTorrent how u like it then place the settings.dat, bmps, icos in the same folder as the .exe. place them in ur $OEM$\$Progs\utorrent folder and create a shortcut to it using ur RunOnce or which ever method you use to call all ur installations. hopefully ur using Cmdow or NirCmdhope that helps
Animorc Posted November 24, 2005 Report Posted November 24, 2005 I haven't heard of "$OEM$\$Progs", but %ProgramFiles% takes you directly to the installed-programs directory
Firon Posted November 24, 2005 Report Posted November 24, 2005 Animorc, it's a folder in the Windows install CD, it's a way of adding your own drivers and programs (like OEMs do with their specialized install CDs).
Ultima Posted November 24, 2005 Report Posted November 24, 2005 @Animorc: You can find a lot of information about that stuff here.
