JoAT
I did a search for this but didn't get any results...I am currently using utorrent 1.7.2 and the WebGUI.I'm having a issue with stats either being recorded wrongly or being displayed wrong. For instance, I would be downloading a file with the webGUI and then would also remotely connect to my computer to check how it's going on my PC as well. The WebGUI would say that I was uploading a file at 200kbs but when I'm remotely connected, the utorrent client would tell me that I was uploading at 2kbs. So of course I would stop the upload, restart utorrent and that's when I noticed that the WebGUI would tell me that I uploaded 400M of a file, while the utorrent client would say that I've uploaded 84M.Isn't this why we had to upgrade to 1.7.2? To avoid false information being displayed? Also, some of the torrents seem to disappear off of utorrent...mysteriously
Ultima
There has been no change between 1.6.1 and 1.7.x with regards to WebUI itself. "False" information was only a tracker announce problem, not a WebUI problem. Not sure what to say about your problems, as I've never experienced them. JoAT
For some reason, 2 instances of utorrent will show in my taskmgr. I have to shut both of these down and restart utorrent in order for it to work properly. But I don't know what is causing 2 instances of utorrent to appear. If I'm accessing the WebUI from 2 different locations at once, could that be doing it? Ultima
It would put extra bandwidth strain on the upload -- sure, as it's actively sending data to the two locations -- but it should be temporary. As for two instances, check your system startup entries (Start > Run > msconfig > Startup) to see if there are two instances of µTorrent/utorrent?
