Torrent Error: Access is denied

I'm still working on it... and I've gone through the FAQ and haven't seen anything that applies to me. I've closed yahoo toolbar... 2 copies of uTorrent aren't running... and I'm not viewing the folder Im DLing to. Any other suggestions?

Also... my DLs start fine and speed up to a good rate (around 100kb/s) then stop due to the error about 30 secs into the DL.

I have been reading through old posts. Indexing is off... and I'm not at the root of c, but off it a bit. Still... eh...

I've tried different torrents consisting of different file formats to see if it was possibly due to an indexing program on a program I'm unaware of but, no matter what, no go.

I appreciate any help. Any link to previous forums is appreciated... though I have looked for some time proior to posting so I don't beat a dead dog. Sorry if I missed something simple.

One weird thing I have found is that I can't change the DL directory. I tried to put in in programfiles/data or such... but it keeps going under documents folder (I have Vista). I did disable indexing here to see if it would help (...it didn't).

Do you have any roxio software installed?

Could you get a sysinternals process explorer process list saved and paste it here?

I don't have anything I see in processes running, nor have I manually added roxio software. I saw in previous posts that should (..maybe) only affect sound files. I'm not familiar w/the other thing you're speaking of. Could you be specific as to what your asking for (as to directions as to where to find the data) or provide a link to a topic which explains this. I'd love to provide any info to help. I'll see if I can find what you're looking for while I wait for a reply.

Need anything else... just holler. One other thing that's weird I noticed today. I set up a static IP... in looking at my network... my IPv4 says: internet but my IPv6 is limited. I don't recall this being the case when I had port forward set up a while back. I don't have any connection issues I'm aware of... only this utorrent hiccup.
