digger1948
every time utorrent 1-7-2 is shut down it restarts by checking all torrents, this time consuming process is barely acceptable for smaller files but renders large torrents (which are most likely to be frequently shut down) all but unusable. This problem only arose after updating to 1-7-2,the previous version ran with only the most occasional of snags.Anyone know what the problem is,or should I try another torrent engine? slipstream
You should try enabling Preferences > Advanced > bt.graceful_shutdown

DreadWingKnight
Considering we can't re-create the conditions that are generating these problems, the problem is NOT being caused directly by uTorrent.Process explorer process list please.
