kresblain
I just created a torrent file, which I've made for a friend. So far, I am not sure if I should keep the program running in the background or not for seeding to commence (whenever that may be). Thank you in advance. TheBear
Have you uploaded your torrent file to a tracker yet?
kresblain
Actually, yes. At first, I wanted to send a link from another website, but now I'm not so sure. Is there an advantage to sending the torrent to a tracker?
Honeyfrog
People won't know about your file if you don't advertise it.Give it a good name and description, and try Mininova.Depending upon what your uploading, you may want to install PeerGuardian first. kresblain
It initially was meant for one person. A home video I burned to DVD, so you know. I did everything by the book, but figured too late that I could send it to him directly. Depending on either method, is it necessary on my part to keep uTorrent open for the transfer to go through? Thank you again.
