pauluk83 Posted August 7, 2007 Report Share Posted August 7, 2007 Hi all i have a problem, i have a new setup, new laptop, ( vista) and a orange livebox, on a 6mb intenet connections, the problem is whenever i start utorrent It just locks up any intenet accsess , i am using wifi, but also have this problem on a wierd connection, i am sure its the livebox config somewhere though not sure.using the urorrent port checker it says that the port is open, havnt messed with utorrents advanced config, just installed it and changed the download location.any help would be usful as at the moment i cant use utorrent.thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Switeck Posted August 7, 2007 Report Share Posted August 7, 2007 Seems Vista really sucks for file sharing...but nevermind that.Try disabling DHT, Local Peer Discovery, UPnP, Resolve IPs (Right-click in PEERS window), and lower net.max_halfopen (in advanced settings) to only 1 or 2.
