Problem with testing if port is open using inbuilt utorrent test

Hi guys, I'm having problems with the inbuilt port tester in utorrent. I was able to to click on "Test if port is forwarded properly" before and it would connect to the utorrent website and if the port was open it would tell me.

The problem now, is that when it tries to test the port in my web browser it keeps saying that "The connection has timed out", The server at www.utorrent.com is taking too long to respond.

I'm not sure why I have this problem now as it used to work fine before.

I'm not sure if this is possible and is just a long shot, but do you have a firewall and maybe accidentally deny utorrent access to the web to check the port?

I don't think that would have happened as I am connected wirelessly to a wireless modem/router that is connected to another PC. So nothing has changed there, it worked fine yesterday, and when I tried it today it just keeps timing out when I try to test it.
