edoderoo
I wanted to seed a new torrent straight from my DVD drive. The torrent worked like 20 minutes to check integrity (wich made sense) and then stopped with an error as it couldn't get write-access... Which it doesn't need for seeding. After reading similar posts on this write only topic I risk that people call me paranoid because I want to seed from the DVD drive, but it can be a nice 4Gb space saver on my always too small harddrive. And for the program it only is a switch to use readonly-attribute for opening files completely downloaded
boo
try 1.2.1 that was just release, it should fix your problem.
Firon
It also might be possible the file is failing the integrity check, if it still doesn't work on 1.2.
SledgeDG
On a more general note: I see your reason for using the DVD ROMjust be aware of the fact, that you drastically reduce it's lifespan due to all the spin up/spin down cycles -DG
edoderoo
I didn't think of the lifespan of the DVD-drive hardware... which is a good thing to keep in mind. And I'm happy to hear that the new version will fix the problem!
