hobbs9au Posted August 8, 2007 Report Share Posted August 8, 2007 when ever i try to download a torrent i notice in my firewall connections that i am getting about 10-20 connections a second to random ip addresses like a denial of service attack so no torrents will download or make any connections on any torrents both new or old to peers or seeds i even tried bit commet and same problem any help would be much appreciated thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Switeck Posted August 8, 2007 Report Share Posted August 8, 2007 There's also multicast packets now for local peer discovery....and also Resolve IPs (right-click to change) in PEERS window.And possibly even UPnP trying to fire off.Lastly, is the regular TCP/IP connections to various peers/seeds ips to try to connect to them for download/upload.
