slipstream
Cannot reproduce the flashget case - uploads just fine here.
dAbReAkA
i would classify flashget as a bittorrent client.. it's just some lame downloader that can now leech torrents..
DreadWingKnight
I've said it before and I'll say it again Alterno.Just because they aren't uploading to you, it doesn't mean they aren't uploading at all.
Alterno
They aren not uploading at all. And there are a few others leecher oriented client that must be banned if they don't play nice with the rules.
slipstream
Alterno,Not true, at least in part about FlashGet.
Ultima
Regardless, client banning is not happening. I've downloaded from a peer using the ever-so-hated BitComet at 400-500KiB/s, where no other peer uploaded to me. If previous requests to ban BitComet were honored/implemented, I would never have gotten anywhere in the torrent (lol, whatever torrent it was... must've been over a year ago by now). Invy
flashget should not be allowed at any tracker. simply because it ignores private flags for torrents, leak onto dht, and doesn't send the event=stop to the tracker.i certainly have banned it at a tracker i administrate.
