WINZIBIT
Hello everyone, I'm WINZIBIT. I have a PC running Windows XP Pro, I use IE7, utorrent 1.6.1. I've recently changed my broadband to sky broadband using a netgear dg834gt router and a netgear wg111t wireless adapter. My utorrent used to work fine before i upgraded to the above system. Now it runs extremley slow and I have a red sign at the bottom with the message "no connectivity, a firewall/router is limiting your network traffic. You need to open up a port so others can connect to you."Can somebody help please.
DreadWingKnight
http://utorrent.com/setup_guide.phpWe don't support 1.6.1 anymore either.
WINZIBIT
Thank you so much for the advise. I upgraded my Utorrent to 1.7.2, then I have forwarded my port (which didn't do much to start off with). I then checked the enable UPnP port mapping & NAT port mapping boxes in the connection tab & the green light is back on at the bottom of the screen. You rock !!!!P.S. what has this actually done and will my download amount increase from the 5kb/s to 11kb/s it is currently running at. or should I ask ....... is there something I can do to increase the D/L amount?
