elysiantraveller
So I have been at this for a few hours now and still no luck so any help would be appreciated. Here is my set-up.ISP: Dish NetworkSpeed: 101KBSModem: Linksys BEFCMU10Router: WRT150NTCIP Patch: Yes 100 (Utorrent set to 60205)Software Firewalls: None I am aware of.Antivirus Software: Mcafee, Utorrent is set to be used.So here is the situation. I have been trying to port forward for most of the day and here is where I am at right now, as I have tried a lot of am will to do anything at this point. Also my status at the bottom is the yellow triangle with exclamation point in it saying no incoming connections. I am currently operating at 150kbs/down and 100kbs/up. Here is my ipconfig:Microsoft® Windows DOS©Copyright Microsoft Corp 1990-2001.C:\DOCUME~1\OWNER>ipconfig/allWindows IP Configuration Host Name . . . . . . . . . . . . : DiscoTek Primary Dns Suffix . . . . . . . : Node Type . . . . . . . . . . . . : Hybrid IP Routing Enabled. . . . . . . . : No WINS Proxy Enabled. . . . . . . . : NoEthernet adapter Wireless Network Connection 2: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-14-A5-81-FE-09 Dhcp Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.136 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1 DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 12.127.16.67 12.127.17.71As you can see I shut off DHCP and went static with this comp. I currently have upnp working with the static configured but when I run to test my port I get this.Welcome to the µTorrent Port Checker.A test will be performed on your computer to check if the specified port is opened.Checking port 60205 on 12.157.128.170...Error! Port 60205 does not appear to be open. Now I am aware that this is my external IP. Is this what is causing the hiccup? Here is what my router is currently set to.Internet Connection Type: Automatic Configuration - DHCP Network Setup Router IP IP Address: 192.168.1.1 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0DHCP Server Setting DHCP Server: Enabled Start IP Address: 192 . 168 . 1.100 Maximum Number of Users: 50 IP Address Range: 192.168.1.100 ~ 149 Client Lease Time: minutes (0 means one day) Static DNS 1: 12.127.17.71 Static DNS 2: 12.127.16.67 Static DNS 3: . . . WINS: . . . Thats my basic setup. Here is my forwarded port.Under Single Port ForwardingName: UtorEXT Port: 60205INT Port: 60205Protocol: BothTo IP: 192.168.1.136So that is my situation, no port forwarding, I am new to this so bear with me but I have searched far and wide today to get the answers and no go. BTJustice
It sounds like Dish Network is blocking uTorrent. Might not be anything you can do about it except get a new ISP.
Ultima
Not just blocking µTorrent; people using satellite connections just can't forward their ports, period.
